I have been doing photography for five years now and I have experienced all kinds of photography starting from sports, news, weddings, couples, portraits, graduations, to fashion and studio photography. I am ultimately looking to be a photojournalist, sports photographer, or to tour with bands and be their photographer.
No matter what the photoshoot may consist of, I fall in love every time I pick up my camera to create authentic and true emotional photographs. I want people to feel something when looking at my photos and to see what I am trying to portray in those moments. I love capturing candid moments so that people can remember them for a lifetime.
I am a very determined photographer as well as the photographer that will not judge you for just being yourself. I don't ever want people to feel uncomfortable but to just be themselves and to feel comfortable in their bodies and photographs. I will be your #1 hype woman that is something I can promise you haha.
I truly have a passion for photography and making people feel and see the stories I'm trying to tell. I can't wait to get to know you more and work with you on whatever you would like to create together.
My Story
I am currently studying at Utah State University. I am studying Broadcast Journalism with a minor in multi media. I originally wanted to be an anchorwoman on the news, ever since I was a kid but then I took a photojournalism class at Utah State and instantly fell in love with photography.
As any other photographer I had to first start off learning lighting, composition, detail, editing, etc.. in order to produce what I wanted my photos to look like. I remember practicing constantly in college asking friends and family to let me take their photos so that I could learn and grow in photography. I have been so determined to keep growing and learning more no matter how far I get because it is something that I am passionate about and driven to keep doing.
Photojournalism has helped me develop an eye for story telling and capturing authentic moments that are happening in the "now." It's what makes my photo style unique and artistic. I love to tell people's stories by capturing photos. It creates a spark that people feel when looking at them. And that is what I live for.
Photography is my artistic way of showing emotion, love, and stories through a photo.
